**Job summary**
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Partner Sales Account Manager to join us in New Delhi, India. In this role, you will develop and manage the global system integrator (GSI) partners. You’ll guide the sales activity to promote sales of Red Hat’s offerings and solutions and be responsible for GSI quota achievement. You’ll be involved in partner management, which will include regional executive engagement, partner enablement, sales and pipeline development, business planning, and revenue generation. The role, its responsibilities, and geographical focus will change and develop over time along with the company's rapid growth.
**Primary job responsibilities**
+ Stimulate regional revenue gained through GSIs
+ Build a detailed knowledge of the GSIs structure with key influencers and contacts
+ Become the point of contact and expert within Red Hat when engaging with the GSI partners
+ Run regular partner reviews resulting in identification and building of detailed understanding of the status of opportunities in the region
+ Establish Red Hat technology as a key component of IT strategy that is embraced and promoted by the GSIs
+ Create direct relationships with key partner leadership teams, mapping them onto Red Hat management
+ Develop a prominent role in articulating Red Hat's vision and message to the partner community
+ Develop solid internal relationships with Red Hat
+ Evangelize Red Hat within the GSI organizations and guide engagement at an executive, marketing, and sales levels within the region
+ Build and manage your own GSI partner relationships and internal relationships (solid and dotted line)
+ Develop an overall business plan for meeting the target within the region in conjunction with each GSI partner
+ Develop and own a sales engagement plan, undertaking bi-weekly pipeline review meetings with the GSIs and guiding engagement between Red Hat and GSI sales people
+ Work with the Red Hat Sales team to minimize and manage conflict that occurs between the GSIs and the Red Hat Sales team
+ Ensure that GSIs conform to their respective contracts
+ Work with Red Hat’s marketing teams in conjunction with the GSIs to plan, develop, and deliver Red Hat participation in the GSIs demand generation marketing activities
**Required skills**
+ 10+ years of software industry experience working with enterprise and solutions field sales organizations
+ Extensive experience in system integrators (SIs) or Tier 1 alliance management with a technology vendor
+ Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and take action on go-to-market approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions, and business cases around strategic partnerships
+ Cross-functional relationship building and project management skills
+ Solid business insight and negotiation abilities
+ Solid leadership skills
+ Ability to work as part of a team
+ Technical graduate degree or MBA is a plus
+ Familiarity with a broad range of application and infrastructure software is a plus
