**Job summary**
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to join us in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will guide sales activities within our rapidly growing accounts in the commercial territory. You'll be assigned a specific territory and uncover, nurture, and close new sales opportunities for our entire solutions portfolio. You will sell our innovative solutions to businesses renovating their IT and introduce new customers to the ways Red Hat’s solutions can give them a competitive advantage. As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you’ll need to work closely with our channel partner network while contributing to the commercial strategy with a variety of internal sales stakeholders.
**Primary job responsibilities**
+ Sell Red Hat’s solutions directly and through channel partners to commercial accounts; create plans with channel account managers
+ Call on prospective customers and identify potential opportunities with partners
+ Manage the sales pipeline and create incremental net new business
+ Provide technical and administrative offering information, demonstrations, and quotes on appropriate customer prices; respond to customer inquiries
+ Manage forecasts, help partners close deals, and track customer opportunities using standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools
+ Grow existing partner relationships and promote sales programs developed for and with partners
+ Participate in internal sales training and certification programs to maintain a high knowledge of Red Hat’s offerings and industry trends
**Required skills**
+ 8+ years of experience carrying and meeting sales quota
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen to and identify customer issues; ability to explain complex ideas
+ Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail
+ Good organizational skills with the ability to learn things and adapt to changing situations
+ Capability to build relationships quickly after first meeting or phone call
+ Experience selling highly technical solutions and knowledge of the complete sales cycle from prospect to close
+ Experience successfully managing a sales pipeline and forecast
+ Proven success of promoting sales strategies through and with partners, preferably in a similar sales territory
