(IND-Bangalore) Channel Sales Account Manager - Renewals Business

**Job summary** The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Channel Sales Account Manager to lead renewals sales activities to join us in Bangalore, India. In this role, you'll serve as the sales lead for your assigned region and be responsible for promoting sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing partner engagement within the region. As a Channel Sales Account Manager, you'll develop and maintain relationships with channel partners and key accounts, while working to sell Red Hat products and services under a partnership agreement. We'll need you to have great communication skills, because you'll be calling on prospective customers with partners across all verticals, providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and price quotes. We'll also need you to be able to explain what our subscriptions are and how they work to prospective customers, and communicate how open source delivers value. **Primary job responsibilities** + Develop and plan the renewal business for the region + Work with the Account teams and solutions architects to come up with programs which can be deployed for increasing the renewal rates higher for the region + Create renewals sales plans and strategies in collaboration with local field sales teams and service source international (SSI) team + Manage internal Red Hat associates, primarily solutions architects and consultants, to support sales and account expansion efforts with key partners in the field + Understand and integrate sales initiatives across both direct and inside sales channels of distribution i.e. distributor and reseller **Required skills** + 10+ years of experience managing subscription business and renewals sales + Familiarity with channel business development and alliances in the software and hardware industries + Thorough understanding of the open source software market and Red Hat solutions + Great interpersonal and communication skills, with a record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout an organization + Degree in computer science, business, or marketing + Excellent written and verbal English communication skills + Familiarity with Red Hat Middleware is a plus **About Red Hat** is the world’s leading provider of enterprisesoftware solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver reliable and high-performing Linux, hybrid cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
